Job Responsibilities

Serves as liaison between Office of Risk Management and Office of International Programs/Education Abroad in a dual-department role. Risk management and mitigation, health, safety and student conduct for programs and students abroad, emergency response, departmental group travel development and management, faculty-led program coordination, outreach, orientations, and supervision of individual traveler registration and higher risk destinations and programs.

Dual M.A. in TESOL/Applied Linguistics and Comparative Literature, Indiana University, Bloomington

International Experience

Lived and taught English in Seville, Spain for three years, and completed a diploma in Spanish at the University of Seville. Studied abroad for one year in France, one summer in Mexico and sailed completely around the world on Semester at Sea. In addition, taught English as a Second Language for numerous years in the U.S., and loved meeting people from all over the world!

Favorite Aspect of CSU

Its small-town niceness (similar to the fabled “Minnesota nice”) and its proximity to the many beautiful mountains of Colorado.
