Three students awarded the Gilman Scholarship for Summer 2017
This summer, three Colorado State University Students have been awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to help fund their international education experiences. Kelli Hartz received $4,000 to study in South Africa, Ashley Verdugo received $2,500 to study in the France, and Andrea Vail received $2,500 to study in South Africa. The Gilman Scholarship Program, funded by the U.S. Department of State, provides financial support to United States citizens who wish to pursue academic and career development experiences around the world. All three recipients are local to the state of Colorado, and Ashley Verdugo and Kelci Hartz are both first-generation students.
